Scholarships

Clark Rural Water Systems awards two $500 scholarships to any high school senior whose immediate household is a paying member of Clark Rural Water Systems and meets the necessary prerequisites. All qualifying applicants have an equal opportunity to have their name entered into a random drawing which is held during the regular, May Board meeting.

Alli Busskohl - Scholarship Winner

Alli Busskohl, daughter of Stacey Busskohl and a graduate of Florence High School, has been accepted into Southeast Technical College where she will pursue her dream in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Adalyn Tesch - Scholarship Winner

Adalyn Tesch, daughter of Jon and Jessica Tesch and a graduate of Watertown High School, has been accepted into Southeast Technical College where she will pursue her dream in Nursing. 

Rules and How To Apply

The Clark Rural Water System Board of Directors has chosen to award 2-$500 scholarships to any high school senior whose immediate household is a paying member of Clark Rural Water System. Although a minimum 2.0 GPA and a “personal story” for each applicant is required, all who meet these prerequisites will have an equal opportunity to have their name entered into a random drawing to be held in conjunction with our May 20, 2027 Board Meeting. All applicants and/or their parents are welcome to attend this meeting if desired. The scholarship funds will be paid directly to the educational facility at the beginning of the recipient’s second semester. 

1. Complete this form by typing or printing (attach additional sheets as necessary).
2. Applicant must attend a South Dakota, post-secondary educational facility. 
3. Enclose a copy of your most recent academic transcript from high school.
4. Enclose a one-page, personal story about yourself.

6. We must have your application in our office before May 20, 2027
